My name is Joel Robertson and I serve as Pastor of Ashley Road Baptist Church. I received my personal Salvation at the age of 11 and was called to preach at the age of 15, while attending a Baptist youth camp in Rockford, IL. I hold a Graduate of Theology degree from Tabernacle Baptist Bible College and I officially began my personal preaching ministry in 1992, in service as Youth Pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Rockford, IL. Since then, I have fervently preached the Gospel in numerous states, including nearly two years of service as Assistant Pastor of Victory Baptist Church in East Prairie, MO, three years as Pastor of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Rochelle, IL, and one and a half years as Assistant Pastor and Academy Administrator of Harvest Baptist Temple in Mackinaw, IL. I became Pastor at Ashley Road Baptist Church in August 2005.
 
My wife, Deneé, received Salvation at the age of 22, shortly after her graduation from Hyles-Anderson College in 1990. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Deneé performs various roles within the church, including serving as pianist/organist, LIFT leader, Ashley Road Baptist Academy teacher and supervisor, church secretary, and substitute Sunday School teacher.

Our children also eagerly participate in several church ministries. Both Aundrea and Micah are actively involved with our church youth group, youth choir, soul winning campaigns, and church worship services, as Aundrea regularly serves in the nursery and Micah regularly serves as an usher. Natalie is actively involved with King's Kids and offers help with weekly church cleaning.

Our family is truly honored to be of service to the Lord in Morris, Illinois.

Throughout the years, Ashley Road Baptist Church has remained a faithful, reliable, and friendly source of healing, for needful souls seeking spiritual nourishment. Ours is an independent, fundamental, premillenial, soul winning, King James Bible Baptist Church. I diligently strive to maintain this honest tradition of old fashioned Gospel preaching.
